K-FLEX® 850P is a fast fusing, dibenzoate plasticizer specifically designed for vinyl applications, with economy as a focus. It is also used in waterborne latex applications such as latex caulks and elastomeric sealants. As a high solvator for vinyl, K-FLEX 850P can be used alone or in blends with non-phthalate GP types such as DOTP, enabling formulators to close the performance gap with phthalates such as DINP. K-FLEX 850P’s high compatibility with polar polymers helps to achieve excellent performance characteristics in flexible PVC applications, including both plastisols and melt compounding.
Manufacturers benefit from improved production efficiency and economy due to fast fusion and dry times and the possibility to reduce expensive copolymer levels. In the end product, K-FLEX 850P promotes excellent stain and extraction resistance and reduced or eliminated exudation.
