Product Details

XIBOND® 285 is a random copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride. It can be processed in all types of regular polymer processing equipment. For good dispersion in styrenic polymer like ABS, twin screw extruders with a mild screw configuration and vacuum degassing facility are recommended. To avoid product degradation, temperatures above 275 °C and high shear stresses should be avoided.

Typical Applications

XIBOND® 285 is designed to act as blend optimizing additive for different functionalities such as compatibilizer, coupling agent, surface modifier and viscosity modifier.
